Adventure in Painting Bellies

So I got to do something insanely fun a few weeks ago! I got to team up with my favorite photographer Liz at Cherry Bird Photography on a collaborative project to paint Maternity Bellies. We had a an absolutely enchanting time working with our two models Penny and Danielle and their adorable bumps.

These ladies were so fun to share this artistic experience with. I smiled every time those sweet babies would kick or punch at my brush. It made me almost wish I was pregnant again-ALMOST! lol

Penny had suggested the great idea of painting a bird nest. I jumped at that idea since bird nest are one of my favorite things to create in my Etsy shop. I love that the bird nest turned out so bright and colorful. Liz did a great job photographing. The lighting and colors are so full of life!

Danielle was a overflowing with excitement to come along on this new artistic adventure. While I painted vines twisting and turning up her body we shared stories of motherhood. Her glowing photographs matched her glowing and spunky personality.

And lets not forget the person behind the camera. Liz works magic with a camera. She doesn't just snap photos she captures stories and memories. She to is a super mommy of two little boys.

It was a great afternoon of mamas sharing this special moment in life of creating our children. I can't wait to show you more photos after our Belly Painting Session happening October 8th. Until then I hope you go out and make your life a little more beautiful.
